Day 02 : Delhi
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British empire. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar, India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial, Also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel & transfer to railway station to board the super fast air-conditioned train to Agra. Arrive Agra in approx. 02 hours & visit the magnificient Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife Also visit the Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms& enjoy a lavish buffet lunch in a 5* hotel in Agra. After lunch drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri-a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town” which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Arrive Jaipur & transfer to Hotel. Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 04 : Jaipur – Delhi
After a leisurely breakfast, visit the majestic Amber Fort, is one that cannot be easily described. Ride up on Elephants to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Later visit the City Palace, Palace of Winds also known as Hawa Mahal, this elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world. Past, present and future merge at Jai Singh's observatory, where time has been accurately measured since the 17th century. Evening transfer to railway station to board the air conditioned train to Delhi, Dinner in the train, Arrive Delhi & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 05 : Delhi - Amritsar
Early morning pick up from hotel & transfer to railway station to board the superfast air-conditioned train to Amritsar . Breakfast in the train, arrive Amritsar and transfer to hotel. Evening visit Wagah Border to watch Border Retreat Ceremony. The pageant of the beating of the retreat and the change of guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces here makes the most charming of the spectacles as a daily evening drill. Ascertain the timings before you leave to see this spectacle since these are changed seasonally. Wagha is the only land border open between Pakistan and India. Night stay in Amritsar.
Day 06 : Amritsar - Delhi
Morning visit Golden Temple -is the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. In the evolution of the Darbar Sahib, is entwined the history and ideology of Sikhism. In its architecture are included, symbols associated with other places of worship. This is an example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance that the Sikh philosophy propounds.
Also visit Jallianwala Bagh- Martyrs’ Memmorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar.

GHOOM MONASTERY
No visit to Darjeeling is complete without a visit to Ghoom, which is six kilometres away from the main town. The hillock is dominated by the famous Yiga Choeling Monastery and a 4.5-metre tall image of the Maitreya Buddha.
OBSERVATORY HILL
Strolling up the Mall, past the quaint Tibetan market, you arrive at the Observatory Hill, the popular meeting place for tourists as well as residents. It is a major tourist spot of Darjeeling, not only for its religious importance but also for the picturesque views the place offers. The view of the magnificent Mt. Kanchenjunga and the entire landscape below is a site worth seeing.
TIGER HILL
A strategic point to watch the spectacular sunrise is Tiger Hill, located at an altitude of 2,590 metres above sea level. It offers a magnificent view of the rising sun over the snow-capped Mt. Kanchenjunga and other great Eastern Himalayan peaks. You can also witness some of the high Himalayan peaks from here on a clear day.
TEA GARDENS
While in Darjeeling get to know some little-known details of the cuppa that cheers by visiting the tea gardens that dot the valley. In fact, the Darjeeling tea has attained for itself a name and a flavour that can neither be matched nor duplicated. There was a time when Darjeeling tea was a brew against which all other brands of tea used to be graded. Even today, connoisseurs fondly refer to it as the champagne of teas.
Day 05: Darjeeling-Sandakphu (3636m)
Morning after breakfast drive for Sandakphu. On reaching camp in Sandakphu. Enjoy the beautiful scenery there. Overnight at camp.
Day 06: Sandakphu- Phalut (3600m) 21km
Morning after breakfast start the trek for Phalut. The trek begins with a sharp descent and proceeds at a fairly level stretch for 13 km. The last mile is a series of zigzags leading directly to the bungalow. Phalut, the tri-junction of Sikkim, Nepal and India, presents the same view of the snows as Sandakphu. Stay at camp there. Overnight in the camp.
Day 07: Phalut –Gorkey (2850m) 15km
Morning after breakfast start the trek for Gorkey. It is a steep downhill trek. Here we halt for the night at an altitude of 7500 ft.
Day 08: Gorkey-Rammam (2560m) 9km
Morning after breakfast start the trek for Rammam. Reach there in the afternoon and camp. Overnight at camp.
Day 09: Rammam-Srikhola (2100m) 11km
The trek through the dense forests of Rhododendron, silver firs, oaks and Magnolias and Hemlocks leads you to Srikhola. As the word Khola denotes we rest besides the Shiri river for the night. Overnight at Srikhola at camp.
Day 10: Srikhola-Rimbik (2286m) 8km
The trek to Rimbik is fairly easy and it takes about three hours if one takes an easy walk. Here the trek ends. From here we proceed to Mirik. Overnight at Mirik.
Day 11: Mirik- NJP. 65 Kms.
Morning drive for New Jalpaiguri, enroute visit the Mirik Lake, the beautiful 1.25 Km long lake is the most attractive spot with facility for boating. On arrival in New Jalpaiguri check in hotel.Overnight at hotel.
Day 12: NJP - Delhi
Morning free and later take Guwahati Rajdhani for New Delhi. Overnight in train. Reach New Delhi next morning. Tour ends on arrival.

DAY 05: Agra (Excursion to Mathura and Vrindavan) - Varanasi
Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under the great Mughals and known for Taj Mahal, has always fascinated Indians and foreigners alike. Most of Agra is on the West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal at its nucleus. Taj Mahal is quite simply one of mankind's most remarkable creations. After early breakfast, we drive at 0800 hrs to Taj Mahal built by emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Next we visit Agra Fort. Later in the afternoon we leave for Sikandara, Akbar's tomb. Further we proceed to Mathura and Vrindavan, related with the birth and childhood of Lord Krishna.

Afternoon, excursion to Sarnath - the buried Buddhist city where Buddha preached his first sermon. After attaining enlightenment at Bodh Gaya the Buddha went to Sarnath; and it was here that he preached his first discourse in the deer park to set in motion the 'Wheel of the Dharma'. It is one of the most holy sites as in this place the stream of the Buddha's teaching first flowed. Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 16th century BC to 12th century AD. DAY 07: Varanasi
Early morning, leave for boat ride on the Ganges to see the bathing Ghats (river bank) & cremation site. Sunrise on the riverfront, as seen from a boat, can be a spiritually uplifting sight. The life on the Ghats bound in an endless string of rituals, ever-changing aspects of the river & the wide landscape across have fascinated visitors from all over the world. Return to hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, city tour of Varanasi - Visit the Bharat Mata temple with a big relief map of India in Marble, Durga temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Benaras Hindu University which has an art gallery & the mosque of Moghul Emperor Aurangzeb.

You arrive in Cochin from Delhi. Upon arrival our representative would meet &assist you at the airport and to our hotel for check-in.
Cochin always had a very popular and historical sea trade connection with Middle East, Mediterranean Europe, Dutch and British. It has one of the finest natural harbours on the Arabian coastline.
Its cosmopolitan character is reflected in the buildings and structures representing different regions of the world. A city of peninsulas and islands, today it is Kerala's commercial hub.

Day 07: Cochin - Periyar (160 km / 04hrs)
After breakfast, we drive at 0900 hrs to Periyar. Upon arrival at Periyar, we assist you to check in at our hotel. Set on an attractive lakeside, it is South India's most popular Wildlife Sanctuary and is a nice place to cruise on the lake and have an opportunity to see wildlife. It is home to tigers, leopards, elephants, bison (gaur), antelopes, sambhar, wild boar, money etc, and a wide of variety of birds. Day 08: Periyar
Early morning before breakfast at 0630 hrs we go for wildlife viewing to the sanctuary on lake Periyar by boat cruise. After two hours of wildlife viewing we get back to the hotel for breakfast. Rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Periyar- Kumarakom (135 km/ 3 hrs)
Today we leave for Kumarakom known for its backwaters, huge Vembanad Lake and the famous Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Late in the afternoon we visit the Bird sanctuary. There are two seasons for birds: between October and February there are cormorants, teals, and other ducks and from February to July there are darters (snake birds), night herons, egrets, and Siberian storks. It also has golden backed woodpecker, crow pheasant, white-breasted water hen & tree pie. Overnight stay.
Day 10: Kumarakom - Thothapalli (Overnight Houseboat)

In the heart of Kashmir valley is Srinagar, the Capital city. It is situated at an altitude of 1,730 meters above sea level. No destination is quite so romantic & no setting as enchanting as Srinagar. Srinagar is a unique city because of its Lakes. Welcome Drink (Kashmiri Khawa) on arrival. Lunch at houseboat. In the afternoon proceed for sightseeing tour - visiting Shankaracharya Temple & Mughal Gardens.
Shankaracharya Temple - It is located at 1100 ft. above surface level of the main city on the Shankaracharya hill, also known as Takht-e-Suleiman. The Shiva temple was constructed by Raja Gopadatya in the year 371 B.C. and as such is the oldest shrine in Kashmir. The temple, besides a prominent Hindu religious place, is of great archaeological importance. The temple commands a magnificent panoramic view of the Srinagar City.
Nishat Garden - The Garden of Pleasure - Empress Noor Jahan's brother Asif Khan laid the Garden in the year 1633 AD. It is situated on the banks of world famous Dal-Lake in the backdrop of Zabarwan hills. The largest of the gardens, Nishat has seven terraces with beautiful water channel flowing right in the middle. These terraces rise dramatically off the mountains from the eastern part of the lake, and these together with the flowerbeds, a riot of brilliant colors, present an unforgettable sight.
Shalimar Garden - The Garden of Love - Built in the year 1619 A.D. for Empress Noor Jahan by Emperor Jehangir and was later extended in the year 1727 A.D. by Shah Jahan. The Garden has four terraces; the 4th terrace was once reserved for royal ladies. The garden is 539 x 182 meters shaded by magnificent Chinar trees; the Shalimar is a series of stones of pavilions and flowerbeds. The Garden blooms with innumerable varieties of flowers in spring and autumn.

DAY 07: Srinagar - Gulmarg (60 Km / 02 hrs approx.)
Shikara boatride on Dal Lake - A Shikara boatride is one of the most soothing & relaxing aspects of a holiday in Kashmir.
Early morning visit the floating vegetable market in a Shikara boat. This unique kind of market can be only witnessed in Thailand and Kashmir. En route the market, watch many species of aquatic birds on lakes, nestling on surrounding trees on floating marshes used for growing vegetables by locals. Return to houseboats for breakfast.
After breakfast we drive to Gulmarg (Meadows of flower), 2730 mtr above sea level. Gulmarg is a huge cup-shaped meadow, lush & green, with slopes where the silence is broken only by the tinkle of cow-bells, Gulmarg looks like a fantasy set in a film, and not surprisingly, has been the venue of several Indian films. All around are snow-capped mountains, and on a clear day you can see all the way to Nanga Parbat mountain (8126 mtr) in one direction & Srinagar in another.
From Gulmarg a pony track leads upwards to Khilanmarg, Kongdoori & seven springs; a couple of hours by pony and longer on foot. From here, across the Apharwat park, which looms up from this point, is Alpather Lake, a picturesque alpine lake, frozen till late June. For horse riding aficionados, Alpather Lake makes an exciting day's excursion, starting early morning and returning late evening. Gulmarg also has one of the world's highest green golf courses with 18 holes, as well as a clubhouse, which is a historical building in its own right. For a fun-filled ride of a most unusual kind, Gulmarg's newly constructed "gondola" cable-car takes people through pine-clad slopes, to Kongdoori, which is at 13,000 feet (3,930 mtr). The 2.5-km ropeway is used by skiers and other tourists. In winter, Gulmarg acquires a new persona - that of the country's premier skiing resorts. Gulmarg is ultimate beginner's skiing resort. DAY 09: Gulmarg - Pahalgam (160 km / 5 hrs approx.)
Leave Gulmarg after early breakfast and drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) via Srinagar. En route visit Saffron fields of Pampore and Avantipur ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Avantiwareman), On the way see the beautiful countryside, rice fields and shepherds grazing sheep, goats and cattle. Drive through the pine forest. Situated at the confluence of the stream flowing from the Sheshnag Lake and river Lidder, Pahalgam was once a humble shepherds' village with breathtaking views. Now it is Kashmir's premier resort, cool even during the height of summer. Around Pahalgam are many places of interest because it set between fairly steep hills. The most beautiful of these is the huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine. Hajan on the way to Chandanwari is an idyllic spot for a picnic. Film goers will recognize it instantly as it has been the location of several Indian film scenes. After lunch have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains or enjoy horse ride. Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel at Pahalgam.

DAY 12: Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar (84km / 3hrs approx.) - (one way)
After breakfast in the houseboat, we drive for day excursion to Sonamarg. The distance of about 84 km will be covered in about 3 hrs (one way). Sonamarg is yet another spectacular facet of countryside of Kashmir. Sonamarg, which means Meadow of gold, has its backdrop of snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The river meanders along here & abounds with Trout & Mahseer. Ponies can be hired from the trip up to Thajiwas glacier a major attraction during the summer months. It is the starting point of a major trek passing several mountains lakes Vishansar, Kishansar, Gadsar, Satsar & Gangabal. Sonamarg's importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. Later return to houseboat for Dinner & Overnight stay.
DAY 13: Srinagar - Delhi (By Air)

Day 01 : Delhi - Jaipur
Morning transfer to New Delhi rail-station for Jaipur train. Arrive & transfer to hotel. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 02 : Jaipur
Morning visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back. Afternoon free.
Day 03 : Jaipur - Agra
Morning free. Later transfer to rail-station for Agra train. Late evening arrive Agra. Transfer to hotel. Overnight Agra.
Day 04 : Agra
Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Afternoon free.
Day 05 : Agra - Delhi
Day free. Check-out at 1200 hrs. Evening transfer to rail station for Delhi train. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Overnight Delhi.
